Getting started with Essential Oils can be tough, and confusing!

There is a lot of information out there on different oils, how to use them, what to use them for, when to use them, when NOT to use them, and the list goes on.

To add to the confusion, not everyone even agrees on the answers to these questions!

Don’t worry! Here at Real Oil, we want to make it a bit easier on you.  In this article, we’ll talk specifically about roll-on bottles and how to get the most out of these blends.

First, for those who are new to Essential Oils, what is a Roll-On bottle in the first place?

Simply speaking, a roll on blend is when you combine an Essential Oil (or five) with a carrier oil, then place the mix into a glass bottle with a rolling ball applicator at the end.

Roll-Ons are great because they are super easy to travel with, making the use of your favorite Essential Oil blends much more convenient in your home, office, car, vacation, gym, and so on!

Which Essential Oils And Blends Work Best In A Roll-On Bottle?

Not all blends are ideal for topical (directly on the skin) application. For example, Oregano, Cinnamon, Clove, Thyme, Cassia and Peppermint are all considered “hot” oils. A hot Essential Oil just means that utilizing it directly on the skin will often result in irritation, and should be used with caution.

Some oils, however, are perfect for topical application, and by extension, use in a a roll-on bottle. These applications can help with headache pain, skin conditions, immune strength, and so much more.

So which Essential Oils and blends go best in a roll-on bottle?

And, how do you use them?

Help clear your mind and relax from the stresses and tension of the day but applying this blend, which contains Sweet Orange, Coriander, Cedarwood, Lime, Benzoin and FCO, to your “Pulse Points.” These are anywhere blood vessels are close to the surface of the skin such as the wrists, temples and neck.

The Resilient Skin Essential Oil Blend is an absolute life-saver! It can help to reduce the appearance of blackheads and blemishes, smooth the appearance of spider veins, Support natural wound healing, tighten the appearance of pores; this blend can even soothe mild insect bites and repel insects!

It contains Lavender, Cypress, Geranium, Lemongrass, Camphor, Rosemary and Helichrysum in a carrier oil combination of Rosehip and Jojoba.
